Thank you for your vote on Primary Day!
|
|
I'd like to thank all those who voted for me on Primary Day. From a candidate not endorsed by my own party, people made me the highest vote-getter in the Town of Rochester, and the second vote-getter in District 1.
Voters in Marbletown, Rochester and Wawarsing have now a choice in November. There are no longer only
4 Legislator candidates for 4 seats. Together, we restored people's right to choose when they vote!
I had the will and determination to fight for a fundamental democratic principle. The people listened, and trusted me that‚ once elected‚ I would fight for them too.
Many told me that, by earning my place on the ballot the democratic way, I won already. In fact, I'm just half-way. Please continue to support my candidacy and help in any way you can. You can make a difference again.
Thank you for your trust. Thank you for your help. Thank you for your vote.

Dear Manuela:
No words can explain how happy and proud I am of you. Like you, I firmly believe that God is on the side of those who mean well and believe in justice. Good luck and am sure those who voted for you will NOT regret it because you are a person who believes and upholds the right principles close to your heart. Warm regards and greetings,
George

Dear Manuela,
Congratulations to you. You will be the foot in the door!! Did you by chance observe the rally in Kingston last Saturday? It did my heart good to see so many people wanting the country back, and in support, all the horns blowing in agreement. Great sight. Thanks for all you do in support of our community and country.
Regards, Rod

Manuela,
Just a short note to say hard work and determination pay off big time. This is a huge victory for you. You must be very happy and proud today. I saw the results early this morning (1:30 am) and didn't want the day to go by without sending my sincere "congrats" and to let you know I was thinking about you. All the best.

Rochester Councilwoman Manuela Michailescu and U.S. Senator Charles E. Schumer at the annual meeting of the Association of Towns of the State of New York.
"The Association of Towns' annual training is, without a doubt, one of the most important civic events in New York. With almost half of New York's population living in more than 900 towns across the state, it's essential that local officials have an opportunity to get training and make connections with each other."

October 3, 2009 — Grand Opening celebration of the Walkway over the Hudson State Historic Park, one of the main events of the 2009 Quadricentennial Commemoration. The Poughkeepsie-Highland Railroad Bridge — the longest in the world when it debuted in 1889 — it's now the longest bridge in the world dedicated to walkers and bikers. With amazing views from 212 feet above the Hudson, it's a brilliant new park in the sky connecting east and west, and past with present...
